In response to the rapid advancement of generative AI and the growing trend of intelligent project management, the College of Business at Feng Chia University has actively promoted the integration of artificial intelligence and management expertise. With the support of Professor Dyi-Shyan Guo from the Department of Cooperative Economics and Social Entrepreneurship, the College organized the AI Project Management Seed Faculty Certification Training Program on March 20 and 27.

The program was personally taught by Dr. Hsiu-Ying Hsu, President of the Project Management Association of Taiwan, and attracted 25 faculty members, including the Dean of the College of Business. The enthusiastic participation reflected the College’s commitment to strengthening AI-driven teaching and professional development.

Twenty-five faculty members from the College of Business completed the intensive training program and all successfully passed the certification examination, achieving a 100% certification rate for the AIPA-A® AI Project Application Associate credential.

Chiung-Ju Huang, Dean of the College of Business, emphasized that in an era of rapid AI development, project management is no longer simply about tools and processes—it has become a core competency that integrates data analysis and intelligent decision-making.

“We are committed to cultivating talent capable of leveraging AI to solve problems, rather than merely using AI tools. This training program marks an important milestone in formally incorporating AI project management into our teaching system. Through the establishment of seed faculty members, we hope students will develop practical skills that align with industry needs while they are still in school,” she noted.

The two-day program, totaling 12 hours of instruction, covered AI applications throughout the entire project management lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Combining practical exercises with certification examinations, the training enhanced participants’ expertise in both AI applications and project management.

Under the professional guidance of Dr. Hsiu-Ying Hsu, all participating faculty members successfully completed the intensive training and passed the certification examination. As a result, 100 percent of participants earned the “AIPA-A® AI Project Application Associate” certification, demonstrating outstanding learning outcomes and teaching readiness.
