International Feng Chia

Feng Chia is committed to the diversified bilateral exchanges between universities, teachers and students with international partner institutions. We have established academic exchange cooperation relationships with more than 350 universities in 33 countries (or regions). The number of our international students reaches 1,700, ranking it among the Top 10 of Taiwan Universities. In addition, the establishment of the International School of Technology and Management offering the international undergraduate programs of 2-years Feng Chia + 2-years overseas is the first in Taiwan. Currently, we cooperate with world-renowned universities such as Purdue University in the USA, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia, San Jose State University in California to offer Bachelor's programs with double degrees.

This international cooperation program is a "special class structure recognized by the two universities" with the same set of courses. In addition to teaching in English throughout the program, in order to improve the quality of teaching and enable students to adapt to the overseas classroom atmosphere, selected teachers are trained overseas and teachers from partner universities are directly involved in our teaching locally.

Purdue University's College of Engineering is one of the leading colleges of engineering in American universities. It is listed among the " Top 10 American Colleges of Engineering" by the "U.S. News and World Report" together with MIT, Stanford, and California Institute of Technology, etc. Its Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) has excellent faculty including 5 National Academy of Engineering Fellows, 1 Gordon Prize winner, 1 former IEEE President, 34 IEEE Fellows, 9APS Fellows, and 7 OSA Fellows.

Business and Innovation｜RMIT University, Australia

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology ( RMIT ) was founded in 1887 in Melbourne. The business school is one of the largest higher education institutions in Australia and the courses are designed based on work and study. This arrangement allows students to prepare both their professional knowledge and mentality before graduation so that they can quickly display their strengths in their careers.

The University of Queensland Business School is the first business school in Australia to be accredited by the world's two largest business school organizations, AACSB and EQUIS. The Bachelor program in International Business Administration ( BIBA ) is taught in English consisting of three years at Feng Chia and one year overseas. The program provides an opportunity to train students’ independence and expand international outlook so that you can become a business management talent with international vision and Greater China management.

University of South Australia

It is a public research university in Australia and a founding member of the Australian Technology Network of universities. Students can apply through the department office to study at the University of South Australia for the double degree program, 3 years +1.5 years for the bachelor/master's degree.

Northumbria University, UK

Ranked 65th in the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Students can apply for the dual degree program at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom through the department office, and obtain a double bachelor's or master's degree in 3 years + 1 year.

University of California, Irvine

Ranked 36th in the 2020 American Public University rankings and we have signed a dual degree program with them. Students can apply through the Office of International Affairs to the University of California, Irvine for a one-year exchange to complete professional certification courses and internships.

Temple University

IRanked 104th in the 2020 American Public University rankings. Students can apply for exchange at Temple University through the Office of International Affairs, and obtain a dual bachelor/master's degree in 3 years + 2 years.

University of California Riverside

Ranked 91st in the 2020 American Public University rankings. Students can apply through the department office to the University of California, Irvine for a one-year exchange to complete professional certification courses and internships.

Rennes School of Business, France

Ranked 51st in the Financial Times MBA ranking in 2019. Students can apply for a double degree at Rennes School of Business through the department office and obtain a double bachelor's degree in 3 years + 1 year. A master's degree (including internship) can be awarded by 3 years at Feng Chia + 1.5 years at Rennes.

Burgundy School of Business, France

Ranked 81st in the 2019 European Business School Rankings. Students can apply to the Burgundy School of Business in France through the department office to exchange for one year and obtain a double bachelor's degree in 3 years + 1 year.

Chung-Ang University, Korea

Ranked 70th in the 2019 Asia university rankings and we have signed a dual degree program with them. Students can apply to the Chung-Ang University of Korea through the department office to exchange for 1 year and obtain a double bachelor’s degree in 3 years + 1 year.

International Accreditation

All our business management departments have passed the international AACSB accreditation and all engineering departments have passed the international IEET accreditation to ensure that our teaching quality meets international standards.

All the top 5% business schools in the world accredited by AACSB

AACSB announced the accreditation of Feng Chia University College of Business on Feb 3, 2014, making us the ninth in Taiwan and the first in the central area to obtain AACSB accreditation among the world's only 5% business schools. We were accredited again in 2019 to be the first university re-accredited in the central area.

All engineering departments passed the international IEET accreditation

All 20 engineering departments and degree programs have passed the IEET international engineering education certification to ensure that the quality of teaching meets international standards. From 2023 onwards, 4 additional degree programs will be certified.

Encourage and reward students to participate in international competitions

The "European Innovation Academy" (EIA), co-operated by internationally renowned universities and enterprises such as Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and Google, is the world’s largest student entrepreneurship project. It is held every summer in Italy for a 3-week workshop in innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2019, we selected 38 students to participate in the activity and second only to UC Berkeley in terms of the number of participants.

Information and Electrical Engineering Team participated in the FIRA Robot World Cup Competition and won the runner-up award

The 2019 FIRA (Federation of International Robot-Sports Association) Robot World Cup Competition was held at the Changwon International Convention and Exhibition Center in South Korea from August 12 to 16, 2019, attracting nearly a thousand people to compete from all over the world. Feng Chia University and the Central Taiwan Science Park Bureau jointly formed the team "FCU-CTSP" and performed well in the "Humanoid Robot Soccer Second Challenge" and won the runner-up.

Cloud Innovation School training players won the championship of 2021 AWS GameDay: Quests Game

Cloud Innovation School training contestant Chen Xuanli from Mingdao Middle School Information Science Senior High School participated in the AWS GameDay: Quests Game event held at the AWS re:Invent 2021 conference and won the championship with 23,311.69 points, significantly ahead of the second place by more than 5,000 points, which is different from other The contestants are all industry experts, and Chen is the only student in this session.

The only participating university from Asia! Feng Chia student won the runner-up in Nuremberg Hackathon

The Nuremberg Technology Incubation Center in Germany hosted a three-day "Digital Tech Summit 2019" from October 11 to 13. The event was divided into digital technology forums and Hackathons, attracting more than 800 industry professionals and students from around the world. Our University was the only Asian university to participate in the Hackathon and won the runner-up award with an impressive performance.
