To align more closely with the rapidly evolving global business environment and further strengthen students’ career competitiveness, the College of Business and College of Finance at Feng Chia University jointly hosted a Mission and Learning Goals Advisory Meeting on March 13. The event brought together President Vey Wang, Dean Chiung-Ju Huang of the College of Business, Dean Sheng-Tung Chen of the College of Finance, and more than 70 representatives from industry, government, academia, and alumni networks to discuss and refine the future vision and strategic direction of the two colleges.
Ranked Among the Top 6% Globally and AACSB Accredited for the Third Time
As the first university in Central Taiwan and the ninth institution in Taiwan to earn accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Feng Chia University has long been recognized for the quality of its business education.
After receiving AACSB accreditation in 2014, the University successfully achieved reaccreditation in both 2019 and 2023. To embody AACSB’s philosophy of Continuous Improvement, the advisory meeting was specifically designed to connect the colleges’ academic development goals with emerging global industry trends, ensuring that graduates possess the knowledge and competencies needed to thrive in international markets.

Chiung-Ju Huang, Dean of the College of Business, introduced the College’s mission and development vision while reviewing the journey of AACSB accreditation and continuous improvement in business education at Feng Chia University.
Dean Chiung-Ju Huang emphasized that the recommendations and perspectives shared by participants will serve as important references in refining the colleges’ learning goals and educational outcomes. These efforts aim to ensure that Feng Chia graduates develop into business and management professionals capable of meeting the expectations of global enterprises.
In alignment with the University’s evolving institutional mission, the College of Business and College of Finance will continue to embrace the AACSB spirit of continuous improvement. The consensus reached during the advisory meeting will be translated into concrete actions focused on enhancing teaching effectiveness, increasing faculty impact and intellectual contributions, and ensuring the highest standards of student learning quality.
Through ongoing collaboration with industry leaders, alumni, and academic experts, Feng Chia University remains committed to cultivating globally minded business professionals equipped to meet future challenges and opportunities.
