Following the conclusion of the world‑leading AI event NVIDIA GTC 2026, faculty and students at Feng Chia University were able to access timely, first‑hand Chinese insights right on campus. On March 23, iSchool hosted the “NVIDIA GTC 2026 Chinese Technical Briefing” at the Virtuosi Hall Lecture Theater, offering an in‑depth interpretation of key conference highlights.

Nearly 300 faculty members and students gathered at the Virtuosi Hall Lecture Theater to explore the new wave of AI brought by NVIDIA GTC 2026.

In his opening remarks, Eric Kuo‑Hao Tang, Vice President of Feng Chia University, emphasized that the university currently boasts a strong lineup of four NVIDIA Campus Ambassadors. This unique advantage enabled the university to deliver a high‑quality Chinese briefing immediately following the GTC conference, allowing faculty and students to stay closely aligned with the latest global developments in artificial intelligence. He also encouraged students to make full use of the university’s rich academic resources to continuously track emerging trends in AI.

The session was introduced by Chen‑Jui Liang, Executive Officer of iSchool and Director of the Bachelor’s Program of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Application, who guided participants through the core themes of NVIDIA GTC 2026. The event curated key highlights from the annual conference, combining expert‑led interpretation with on‑site analysis to help attendees gain a deeper understanding of the latest advancements and application trends in AI technologies.The briefing attracted enthusiastic participation from across campus, with nearly 300 attendees. Participants came from diverse fields, including the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, College of Business, College of Finance, College of Construction and Development, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as various administrative units. This wide representation underscored how AI has transcended traditional disciplinary boundaries to become a shared focus across the university, highlighting the growing momentum of interdisciplinary learning and application.

The keynote session was delivered by Ming‑Han Tsai, Associate Dean for Information Services at Feng Chia University and NVIDIA Campus Ambassador, who provided a concise Chinese interpretation of key topics from GTC 2026. His presentation focused on two major themes—Physical AI and Robotics—and featured expert commentary on the sessions “How Open World Models Are Powering the Next Breakthroughs in Physical AI” and “Disney’s Olaf: From the Screen to Reality via Physical AI.” Through systematic analysis, the briefing enabled participants to grasp the core directions of global AI development within a short time frame and inspired new perspectives on cross‑disciplinary applications.

In response to the rapidly evolving AI wave, Feng Chia University will continue to align closely with global industry leaders such as NVIDIA, further strengthening its interdisciplinary AI learning ecosystem.
