To help high school students and parents gain a comprehensive understanding of university life and departmental features, Feng Chia University held the "Discover Feng Chia" event on April 12, attracting over 3,500 high school students and parents to visit the campus, experience the university atmosphere, and explore their future directions. The 2025 "Discover Feng Chia" event featured a full day of activities, including "Department Time" for face-to-face interactions with faculty and senior students; keynote speeches analyzing Feng Chia's innovative academic systems and international resources; "Highlight Exhibitions" showcasing research achievements and industry connections; exclusive sessions for students admitted through special selection and Star Plan recommendations; and campus exploration activities.
This year's "Discover Feng Chia" event highlighted the opportunity for high school students and parents to visit Virtuosi Hall, which was completed in February and designed by renowned international architect Kengo Kuma specifically for Feng Chia University. Praised as Taiwan's most beautiful campus landscape architecture, Virtuosi Hall embodies the core values of smart campus, low-carbon transformation, and ecological friendliness. On the event day, it was not only open for tours but also transformed into an actual learning venue. A keynote speech held at Sheng-Jih Hall featured Bing-Lin Liu, Dean of Admissions, sharing Feng Chia's innovative academic systems and international resources, attracting a large audience of high school students and parents. The hall was packed, and the afternoon session was live-streamed in the Grand Lecture Hall. High school students got a taste of the rhythm and depth of future university life, as if rehearsing their first university class.

Virtuosi Hall features flexible and diverse space planning, including Sheng-Jih Hall for large academic lectures, classic general education courses, and art performances; the Grand Lecture Hall equipped with smart devices and global connectivity systems; multifunctional rooms suitable for interactive teaching and interdisciplinary discussions; over 20 classrooms; and public spaces filled with sunlight and greenery. It is not just a building but a concrete manifestation of Feng Chia's educational ideals, creating a free, open, dialogic, innovative, and harmonious learning environment for the next generation. Feng Chia University President Wei Wang stated, "In times of international instability, Feng Chia University conveys its steadfast values in higher education through Virtuosi Hall, preparing ourselves even in challenging times."
The event received positive feedback from high school students and parents. In the feedback survey, some mentioned, "Feng Chia University is very dedicated to education, and the campus environment is excellent," and "The 'Discover Feng Chia' event gave us great direction." One student even praised, "Feng Chia University is the dream university environment."
