Feng Chia University will host its annual “Discover Feng Chia” 2024 Open Festival on April 13 (Saturday) from 9:00 to 16:00. The event welcomes high school students interested in learning more about Feng Chia University to visit the campus with classmates and family members. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the campus environment, understand the academic strengths of each college and department, and discover the university’s diverse resources.
In recent years, Feng Chia University has continued to grow steadily and has earned strong trust from students and parents. The university achieved a 96.84% freshman enrollment rate in the 2023 academic year, ranking second among private comprehensive universities, with an impressive 99.70% enrollment rate in daytime bachelor’s degree programs. Committed to student-centered development, Feng Chia has enhanced campus spaces, promoted teaching innovation, and strengthened industry partnerships. These efforts have earned significant external recognition. According to Global Views Monthly’s 2024 “Most Favored by Employers” ranking, Feng Chia University placed 7th nationwide and 1st among private universities. In Cheers magazine’s 2024 “University Presidents’ Survey,” Feng Chia University ranked 3rd nationwide for its excellence in teaching innovation.
In scientific research, the university focuses on three major fields: Smart Applications, Net-Zero Technologies, and Space Technology. In November last year, the university successfully launched the SHSR-Aero1, becoming the first university in central Taiwan to enter the field of scientific-sounding rockets. In addition, a team from the College of Information and Electrical Engineering developed an intelligent electronic suspension system, which received the 2023 Future Tech Award. By integrating internal and external research resources, Feng Chia University continues to strengthen its research capabilities.
