Feng Chia University’s Class of 2026 commencement ceremony was held on June 6 in two sessions for the first time at the Celebration Hall in the Virtuosi Building.
In addition to recognizing recipients of the Academic Excellence Award, Li-De Award, Tian-Xing Award, Ji-Ren Award, Li-Xue Award, and Phi Tau Phi Honor Society representatives from each college, the University introduced the Honor Student Award for the first time. The distinction recognizes outstanding graduates whose achievements extend beyond academics to include interdisciplinary learning, international engagement, professional internships, public service, and leadership. The award reflects the University's commitment to cultivating well-rounded individuals prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
Among the inaugural Honor Student recipients was Yi-Ting Chen from the Department of Cooperative Economics and Social Entrepreneurship, who received the President’s Education Award in 2024. Throughout her academic journey, she continually challenged herself and demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination.
Another inspiring graduate was Ting-Wei Ku from the Department of Marketing, who received the Li-Xue Award. With the support of her family, she overcame physical challenges and persevered through her studies. Their stories of courage and persistence deeply moved attendees and added a touching dimension to this year’s commencement ceremony.

Kao shared memorable experiences from campus life, highlighting how teamwork, project collaboration, and everyday challenges pushed students beyond their comfort zones and taught them communication, responsibility, and mutual support—skills that will remain invaluable in their future careers.
