Student organizations at Feng Chia University have once again achieved outstanding results on the national stage. At the 2026 National College and University Student Club Evaluation and Observation Event, organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, Feng Chia student organizations distinguished themselves among 225 clubs representing 116 universities nationwide. Their exceptional organizational management and program achievements earned them two Outstanding Awards, the highest honor in the competition, as well as a Best Featured Activity Award, demonstrating the university’s excellence in student leadership and diverse extracurricular development.
Faculty advisors from the Extracurricular Activities Section and student organization members from Feng Chia University participated in the national student club evaluation, earning two Outstanding Awards and a Best Featured Activity Award.
Hosted by the Ministry of Education and held at I-Shou University in Kaohsiung from March 28 to 29, the event aimed to promote mutual learning and growth among student organizations through evaluation and observation exchanges. The competition also sought to strengthen the educational value and social engagement of extracurricular activities.
Evaluation criteria covered a wide range of areas, including organizational operations, resource management, activity planning and execution, and overall performance and distinctive achievements, making the competition highly competitive.
Three outstanding student organizations from Feng Chia University were nominated for the national evaluation, and all three achieved impressive results:

Both the Wind Band Club and the Department of Economics Student Association received the competition’s highest distinction, the Outstanding Award, reflecting their maturity and innovation in student governance, activity planning, and organizational development.
Meanwhile, the Qinyin Guitar Club was recognized for its highly engaging signature event, “Homecoming for Alumni Club Members.” By fostering intergenerational interaction and strengthening emotional connections among current and former members, the event stood out among 48 competing entries nationwide. It was selected as one of the top ten featured activities in Taiwan and received the Best Featured Activity Award, showcasing the club’s creativity, vitality, and strong community spirit.
Feng Chia University has long been committed to promoting students’ holistic development by encouraging active participation in extracurricular organizations. Through club involvement, students cultivate leadership skills, teamwork, social responsibility, and personal growth.
These achievements not only highlight the strong organizational capabilities and dedication of Feng Chia’s student organizations but also reflect the university’s substantial investment in student affairs support, extracurricular guidance, and campus resources.

The Feng Chia University Wind Band Club received the Outstanding Award in the Recreation Category of the 2026 National College and University Student Club Evaluation.
The Department of Economics Student Association at Feng Chia University received the Outstanding Award in the Self-Governance and Comprehensive Category of the 2026 National College and University Student Club Evaluation.
The Qinyin Guitar Club received the Best Featured Activity Award for its signature event, “Homecoming for Alumni Club Members.”
