Students Ho-Chieh Lin, Hsin-Ying Yu, and Reiya Ozeki from the Bachelor's Program of International Business Administration in English (BIBA), together with Tsan-Hsu Cheng from the Department of Statistics, formed a cross-disciplinary and multinational team that earned third place in the 2026 Campus Project Management Award. Their achievement highlighted the value of international collaboration and project-based problem-solving in addressing global issues.

The K-Resilient team represented a truly multinational and interdisciplinary collaboration. Team members included Ho-Chieh Lin from the Philippines, Hsin-Ying Yu from Taiwan, Reiya Ozeki from Japan, and Tsan-Hsu Cheng from South Korea. Bringing together expertise from international business and statistics, the team applied project management methodologies and sustainability principles to develop its award-winning proposal.

The project focused on women’s empowerment and industry development in the Gulf region of the Middle East. After analyzing local market conditions and social needs, the team proposed a project that combined skincare product development with vocational skills training programs. The initiative aimed to expand employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for women while aligning with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and broader sustainable development goals.

Working across disciplines, cultures, and international perspectives presented significant challenges. Through effective division of responsibilities and project scheduling, the four students successfully completed the project plan. In the final round, they presented their project framework, implementation strategies, and risk management approach to a panel of academic and industry judges.

Their achievement not only demonstrated Feng Chia University students’ ability to apply project management knowledge to real-world international issues, but also reflected the College of Business's commitment to cultivating graduates with global perspectives, cross-cultural communication skills, and interdisciplinary integration capabilities.
