The Central Feng Chia University Alumni Association Young Alumni Group (Central FCU Young Alumni, CFAYA) held its Fourth-to-Fifth President Handover Ceremony and Annual General Meeting on June 27 at In Sky Hotel in Taichung. Under the theme“Back to School Once More,” the event attracted nearly 200 alumni and faculty members. Since its establishment in 2018, CFAYA has served as a platform for young alumni networking and professional growth, continuing to expand with the support of the FCU Alumni Association and alumni organizations across Taiwan.
During the ceremony, fourth-term president Wei-Chen Lin (Department of Chemical Engineering, Class of 2015) officially passed leadership responsibilities to fifth-term president Shuo-Chi Lee (Bachelor’s Program of Business Administration for Continuing Education, Class of 2019). The handover was witnessed by Peng-Hsien Shih, Honorary President of the FCU Alumni Association. FCU President Wei Wang praised CFAYA’s achievements since its founding, highlighting its success in connecting young alumni across diverse fields and its ongoing contributions to alma mater and alumni affairs. She encouraged young alumni to continue building cross-generational networks, strengthen the FCU community, and support the University’s sustainable development through the power of alumni engagement.

CFAYA’s Fifth Leadership Handover Ceremony was held on June 27 at In Sky Hotel in Taichung, bringing together nearly 200 alumni and faculty members.
This year’s theme, “Back to School Once More,” was designed to rekindle shared memories of campus life while encouraging lifelong learning. In addition to the formal ceremony, CFAYA’s cheerleading team delivered an energetic dance performance, and alumni joined together to sing and dance to “Central FCU Young Alumni Go Brave.” Honorary President Peng-Hsien Shih performed “When the Drums Sound,” while Alumni Association Vice President Yung-Chuan Yu and Chun-Tang Chou, Executive Director of the Taipei Feng Chia University Alumni Education Foundation, sang “Happy Cha-Cha.” Longtime CFAYA advisor Ming-Che Yu also performed with his guitar, using music to strengthen alumni connections.
The event also welcomed members of the Class 115 Honor Students, giving these outstanding soon-to-be graduates an opportunity to learn about alumni organizations and professional networks before entering the workforce. Participants gained insight into the networking resources, industry connections, and career-development opportunities available through FCU’s alumni community. CFAYA also announced plans to identify Honor Student representatives with strong leadership potential and a commitment to service to help foster future Honor Student community development.
Newly inaugurated president Shuo-Chi Lee shared that he had received considerable support from fellow FCU alumni during his entrepreneurial journey and had personally experienced the strength of the alumni network. Motivated by gratitude, he accepted the leadership role and plans to launch the “Next Generation Incubator Initiative,” aimed at strengthening young alumni engagement, expanding cross-industry collaboration, and helping more young alumni find a sense of belonging and opportunities for growth through CFAYA.

The fifth CFAYA leadership team officially took office following the handover ceremony.
