The Central Taiwan Regional Finals of the 2025–2026 National Student Music Competition concluded successfully on March 15 at the Nantou County Cultural Affairs Bureau Performance Hall. Throughout the two-week competition period, several music clubs from Feng Chia University delivered outstanding performances, earning multiple Superior Awards through exceptional teamwork, artistic excellence, and dedicated preparation.
Among the participating groups, the Traditional Chinese Music Club achieved particularly remarkable results. Demonstrating refined ensemble coordination and rich musical interpretation, the club received Superior Awards in both the Silk and Bamboo Chamber Music and Chinese Orchestra Ensemble categories, showcasing the enduring appeal of traditional Chinese instruments in a contemporary setting.
Meanwhile, the Feng Chia University Wind Band, long recognized as one of the university’s most accomplished musical organizations, continued its impressive legacy by earning another Superior Award in the University Wind Ensemble Division B category. This achievement marks the band’s 13th consecutive Superior Award, further cementing its reputation for musical excellence.
In addition to its large ensemble performance, the Wind Band also received Excellent Awards in the Brass Quintet, Percussion Ensemble, and Woodwind Quintet categories, reflecting the group’s strong technical foundation and consistent dedication to musical development.
The Feng Chia Choir also distinguished itself by winning a Superior Award in the Mixed Choir category. Through harmonious vocal blending and expressive interpretation, the ensemble delivered a performance that deeply impressed the judges.
The String Orchestra Club earned an Excellent Award in the String Ensemble category with its poised and elegant performance, while the Harmonica Club achieved outstanding results by receiving a Superior Award in the Harmonica Quartet category and an Excellent Award in the Harmonica Ensemble category.
These accomplishments highlight not only the musical talents of Feng Chia students but also the commitment, perseverance, and teamwork cultivated through years of practice and collaboration.

Students also expressed sincere gratitude to their instructors for their dedicated guidance.
