On April 29, the National Development Council (NDC) announced the list of the top 100 teams selected for the “Startup Blossom – Startup Alliance Competition.” Among 2,805 participating teams from across Taiwan, Fengsheng Digital Development Co., Ltd., led by Chen Chen-Hung, an alumnus of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Feng Chia University, successfully advanced into the top 100 and was awarded NT$3 million in startup funding support.
The Startup Blossom program is one of Taiwan’s largest and most comprehensive entrepreneurship support initiatives. Designed to cultivate an “innovation and entrepreneurship rainforest ecosystem,” the program recruits startup teams and companies established within the past five years and provides staged evaluations, professional training, mentoring, and resource networking opportunities. With an acceptance rate of less than 4 percent, Fengsheng Digital’s selection reflects both its strong technological foundation and clearly defined market positioning.

Fengsheng Digital has developed an Engineering AI Agent that leverages intelligent plasma technologies to significantly enhance production-line performance.
Fengsheng Digital focuses on semiconductor process optimization and AI-powered industrial solutions. By integrating artificial intelligence technologies into manufacturing environments, the company helps enterprises improve production efficiency, optimize fabrication processes, and shorten product development and testing cycles.
In addition to process optimization, the company provides AI implementation and system integration services, lowering the barriers for enterprises adopting intelligent technologies and accelerating digital transformation within the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing sectors. Through technological innovation and practical applications, Fengsheng Digital has already established a distinctive business model and demonstrated early success in both technology validation and market development.
Its selection among the top 100 startups not only highlights the feasibility of its technology and business model but also signals significant growth potential for future industry applications and market expansion.
Fengsheng Digital is one of the startups incubated by the FCU Innovation Incubation and Business Development Center. Founder Chen Chen-Hung is also a former student of Professor Chu-Liang Ho, Chair Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Feng Chia University.
Previously, Chen led his team to become one of the outstanding second-stage teams in Taiwan’s U-start Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, demonstrating strong capabilities in both technological innovation and entrepreneurial practice.
Reflecting on the achievement, Chen said:
“We are thrilled and honored to receive recognition in Taiwan’s largest startup competition. Our company was only established last year, and we are grateful for the invaluable guidance and mentorship provided by senior alumni from the FCU Technology Alumni Association. Our company name, Fengsheng, literally means ‘born because of Feng Chia.’”
Looking ahead, Fengsheng Digital hopes to further strengthen its connections with Feng Chia University and industry partners. Chen stated that the company will continue working alongside alumni and industrial partners to promote smart transformation applications and expand collaboration opportunities, particularly in plasma technology and semiconductor-related fields.

The Fengsheng team participated in the U-start Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, advancing to the second stage and receiving NT$850,000 in funding support as well as an additional NT$100,000 award for international participation.

The team actively participates in leading entrepreneurship programs.
