Our International Cooperation Programs are designed as "Dual-University Accredited Special Programs" with curricula fully aligned with our global partners. To ensure academic excellence and help students adapt to an international learning environment, all courses are conducted in English. We regularly send faculty abroad for advanced training and invite professors from partner universities to co-teach on-site. Under the 2+2 Dual Degree model, students spend two years at Feng Chia and two years at a partner university. Upon fulfilling the graduation requirements of both institutions, they are awarded bachelor’s degrees from both universities.

Feng Chia University X The University of Queensland: The First Collaborative Hub in Taiwan

On March 20, 2025, The University of Queensland (UQ)—a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight—officially inaugurated the "UQ Global Connect-Taiwan" hub at Feng Chia University. The ceremony coincided with UQ’s flagship event, "UQ Info Day 2025." As UQ’s first physical campus presence in Taiwan, this hub symbolizes a significant milestone in the deepening partnership between the two institutions.

Through the "UQ Global Connect-Taiwan" hub, both universities will foster closer ties in dual degree programs, faculty exchange, and joint research. Together, we are committed to cultivating global talent and setting a new benchmark for higher education collaboration between Taiwan and Australia.

Feng Chia University’s ISTM 2+2 Program Enables Students to Earn Dual Degrees from Taiwan and Overseas Institutions

Nearly ten years after its establishment, the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) at Feng Chia University has successfully partnered with seven internationally renowned universities to offer nine international dual‑degree programs. Through these collaborations, the school has cultivated nearly 300 outstanding graduates who have earned bachelor's degrees from both Feng Chia University and partner universities in the United States and Australia.
More than half of ISTM graduates choose to pursue advanced degrees, with many successfully admitted to world‑class universities—often with scholarships. These institutions include Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, The Ohio State University, and The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to continuing their studies, some graduates stay abroad or return to Taiwan to begin their careers. To date, alumni have secured positions at globally recognized companies such as Intel, AMD, Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn), and Trend Micro.

This Is a Choice You Will Never Regret

Purdue–FCU 2+2 Bachelor’s Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering｜Zheng‑Kai Chen

When I first chose the FCU 2+2 programs, I applied only to Purdue University because I have always been more interested in engineering and technology. The courses I completed during my first two years at Feng Chia University were fully recognized by Purdue, allowing me to transfer approximately 70 credits.

Competing academically with top international students was stressful, and the heavy coursework meant that during my first semester I barely socialized, focusing instead on assignments and studying. Out of a 4.0 GPA, I achieved a 3.92. I do not believe grades are everything, but because I hoped to pursue graduate studies, I invested more time in studying to maintain strong academic performance. Ultimately, I received admission to Purdue University’s master’s program.
