Department of Public Finance with the most compulsory credits in the school, I graduated third in the class. But the next thing I want to talk about is not the process of studying hard by a schoolmaster, but the wonderful story of a college student.
Internship at the IRS to experience workplace life in advance
During the winter vacation of my junior year, I went to the IRS for an internship. Because I wanted to learn more, I voluntarily joined the comprehensive income tax class. At that time, I was on the corporate withholding season. The comprehensive tax was very busy, and no one came to the country. The tax bureau is happy to pay taxes, so this is a very good time to train yourself in EQ. You must use more patience to face taxpayers. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend everyone to go!
Show the opportunities learned, the Ministry of Science and Technology plans
I am very grateful to my advisor, Director Wu Chaoqin, for leading and guiding me, allowing me to submit the plan, which was affirmed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and received a subsidy. If there are people who want to study in graduate school in the future, they might as well implement this plan, which is definitely a big plus.
Out of school, Deloitte Tax Elite Challenge
This is a competition organized by Deloitte Certified Public Accountants. Under the leadership of Teacher Hong, we successfully entered the semi-finals and had a good communication with the participating teams.
Cultivate soft power, the Department of Finance and Taxation Society
The most important activity that changed my college life was the departmental society. I was elected as the president of the departmental society in my junior year. In fact, when I was elected, I was very anxious and not sure if I could do it well. But fortunately, I learned the cadres, With the encouragement of the teachers and senior sisters, the Department of Public Finance was successfully supported.
Love service, Taipei Universiade Foreign Language Volunteer
I love to use my free time to participate in various activities. One of the most representative activities is the Universiade. I worked as a foreign language volunteer for the Taipei Universiade in 2017. I was assigned to the Linkou Players Village. At first, I wanted to say, "Oh my God, it’s too far." But then I changed my mood and I gradually felt that staying in the Players’ Village would make me better with the players. A lot of interaction, about eight hours of English spoken a day, it is basically an English special training class. Friends who want to challenge their foreign language skills, don’t miss the opportunity in the future. You can meet like-minded friends and broaden your horizons!
Now I’m here to share, it’s every step I took bravely that made me, and I hope that in four years, I can see you share your wonderful moments in college with me.
