The admission list for the 2025 academic year (114th academic year) was announced yesterday (13th). Despite the impact of declining birth rates, Feng Chia University continues to deliver outstanding results, maintaining a full enrollment record for three consecutive years. This achievement reflects the high level of trust and recognition from students and parents in Feng Chia University’s dedication to education. It also extends the university’s record for the highest number of distributed admissions nationwide, with 2,407 students admitted through the application process.

According to the Ministry of Education, Feng Chia University’s approved enrollment quota for the 2025 academic year reaches 3,975 students (including 125 additional spots), ranking third among all public and private universities in Taiwan. The recent expansion focuses on key disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence, Information, Photonics, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Systems Management, Mechanical and Computer-Aided Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. This highlights the university’s deep cultivation and proactive layout in forward-looking technology fields.

Feng Chia University has long been renowned for its strong industry-academia collaboration. According to the Ministry of Education’s national university affairs statistics, the university’s industry-academia collaboration project funding exceeded NT$600 million in 2023, ranking eighth nationwide and first among private universities for eight consecutive years. In addition to jointly establishing professional laboratories with enterprises and introducing cutting-edge industry resources and technologies, the university also collaborates with well-known domestic and international companies such as TSMC, Macronix, King Yuan Electronics, and Micron to offer named programs. In terms of teaching achievements, Feng Chia University upholds the “Big Fish Leads Small Fish” philosophy, encouraging faculty to lead students in research and competitions. This year, in the National Science and Technology Council’s “College Student Research Program,” the university ranked sixth nationwide and first among private comprehensive universities, with 145 approved projects. Competition performance is equally outstanding, with faculty-student teams winning the top prize in the “Taiwan Generative AI Application Hackathon” in both 2024 and 2025, fully demonstrating the university’s robust academic and talent cultivation capabilities. Thanks to this educational philosophy and proactive actions, Feng Chia University has been ranked the top private university in the “Cheers Magazine University Performance Survey” for ten consecutive years, earning high recognition from higher education and industry sectors.
