Feng Chia University celebrated its 63rd anniversary with the theme "Virtuosi Education - Achieving the Mission of Education with a Heart of Virtuosity" on the morning of November 10th at Qi Yuan Hall. Alumni, distinguished guests, and faculty members gathered to celebrate this significant moment and to kick off the fundraising for the "Virtuosi Hall" and "Virtuosi Education" projects, which are set to be completed in February next year.
In his speech, President Vey Wang reviewed the achievements of the past year, noting that the university's registration rate reached 97.29%, 22 faculty members were selected among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, the establishment of the 14th Fraunhofer FIP International Innovation Applied Research Organization FIP-SPE@FCU, and the selection for the Ministry of Education's bilingual "Field Benchmark Program". These accomplishments are thanks to the hard work of the faculty and staff and the support of the alumni. President Wang invited all alumni, faculty, students, and friends to witness the growth and development of Feng Chia University and to embrace the spirit of virtuosity to create a bright future together.
Ming-He Li, President of the Alumni Association, extended the most sincere blessings on behalf of 230,000 alumni, stating that Feng Chia University has adhered to the educational spirit of "Virtuosi Education" for 63 years, cultivating countless outstanding talents. The soon-to-be-completed "Virtuosi Hall" symbolizes a new chapter in the university's education and sustainable development. He called on all alumni to continue supporting the university's development and to work together to create a better future.
Chairperson Cheng-Shu Kao took the stage last, emotionally thanking the university's founder, Ren-Yan Gao, and recalling his father's visionary advice decades ago, from the relocation of Shui-Nan Airport to the expansion of the campus. He emphasized that the mission of education is to change the destiny of every student, regardless of their family background, gender, or past conditions, and that entering Feng Chia University brings hope and opportunity.

During the ceremony, Chairperson Kao officially announced the launch of the "Virtuosi Education" fundraising campaign, inviting all who identify with Feng Chia's educational philosophy, partners, and the public to support the university's development. Whether through tangible donations or intangible support, all contributions are vital to the university's progress. During the anniversary luncheon, many alumni gave heartfelt speeches and responded enthusiastically, demonstrating their deep affection for their alma mater and injecting infinite support and strength into the fundraising campaign.

This year's anniversary celebration honored six outstanding teachers, 22 excellent teachers, five excellent mentors, and 23 outstanding service staff and senior service teachers and staff, as well as 14 distinguished alumni who have excelled in their respective fields and brought glory to their alma mater. As President Wang and Chairperson Kao said, "Feng Chia people" and "Feng Chia spirit" are the university's most valuable assets. It is because of the selfless dedication and contributions of these Feng Chia people that the university has grown from its humble beginnings to today's "I am Feng Chia, I am proud."

Distinguished guests, the president, teachers, and staff stood up and sang the Feng Chia University anthem together.
After the ceremony, Feng Chia teachers led the alumni on a tour of Virtuosi Hall, explaining its design concept, construction progress, and future usage plans in detail.
