''Cheers 2022 University Performance Growth" survey invited 144 presidents of colleges and universities across Taiwan to evaluate each other and recommend universities that have grown significantly in recent years. The results showed that Feng Chia University ranked fourth in all universities. We are named for reasons such as industry-Academia Cooperation, outstanding innovation of curriculum, strengths in digital teaching, the impact of child-rearing but continue to be active in hardware and software construction. Last, continuous to create school characteristics, teaching innovation and internationalization, our Progress had evident.
The survey showed that with the impact of the epidemic, 87.5% of the principals believed "enhanced Hybrid Learning" provides a better online and offline educational experience. It is the most important development for the universities. Secondly, "Industry-Academia collaboration" and "internationalized teaching" are particularly emphasized in strengthening departmental specialties. Lastly, "giving universities full autonomy" and "fair and reasonable allocation of resources/funds for higher education" is the most urgent issues for higher education, according to 60% of the presidents. To face the changing world, universities must adjust their pace and increase their investment in the education of Taiwan's university students so that young people can have a new future.
Educate cannot wait and should not wait. Feng Chia University has never stopped investing in campus construction and teaching resources. Even though the epidemic has made us teach online, we had actively unified an online platform and trained teachers to change their teaching mode. Even when we were back to Classes in Person, we still completed the work of installing Webcam in 184 classrooms.
In the new academic year, Feng Chia University has also invited academic experts and industry leaders in various fields, who brought in outside experience to create small class honor courses. For example, President of DIGITIMES Huang Yen-Yung and former Director of TSMC Research and Development Division Yang Guang-Lei. To teach as industry coaches to help students develop the ability to define problems, collect data, research, and solve problems through co-teaching, keynote lectures, topic creation, and group presentations. The best faculty is the most successful example of innovative teaching at Feng Chia University.
