The Japanese track of the Common Foreign Language Program is entering its second year! If you’re a first-year student, here’s another opportunity to learn a new language and explore Japanese culture.

✔ Communicate in everyday Japanese

👩🎓 Eligibility
First-year students admitted in AY 2026–27
• All Japanese proficiency levels are welcome
• Students with prior Japanese experience will be placed by proficiency level
※ Not open to students in the Department of Foreign Languages, first-year international students in the Undeclared Program, or the International College.

Five classes are available. Each class has a maximum of 50 students.

Please complete the registration form and submit the Declaration for Japanese Language Course Enrollment by 12:00 noon on Aug. 31, 2026.
