This year's conference centered on "Taiwan's AI Competitiveness," focusing on the in-depth application and future development of AI in industry, and approached the topic from multiple perspectives, including policy governance, international trends, and practical applications, fully demonstrating the development potential of artificial intelligence in Taiwan. The conference also invited heavyweight representatives from industry, government, and academia, including Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim, ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih, Appier Independent Director Kai-Fu Jian, Minister of Personnel Administration Chun-Jung Su, and Chairman of the Digital Economy and Industry Development Association Chen Cheng-Ran, to discuss future opportunities in AI.
The collaboration between Feng Chia University and AIA focuses on the "AI Industry Talent Competency Certification Program" (AIATCL™, AIATCE™, AIATCM™). Both parties will promote exams and certifications in central Taiwan regions such as Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou, helping enterprises quickly identify and employ AI talents, and providing opportunities for trainees to upskill and reskill.
Currently, AIA Taiwan AI Academy has established three major regional centers across Taiwan: the Taipei Regional Center (National Chengchi University), the Central Taiwan Regional Center (Feng Chia University), and the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Regional Center (Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology). Through the cooperation and promotion of each regional center, the influence of the AI certification program will be expanded, further deepening Taiwan's overall AI talent cultivation layout.

AIA Taiwan AI Academy, in collaboration with National Chengchi University, Feng Chia University, and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, has established three major regional centers to comprehensively expand the momentum of the AI Certification Program.
Feng Chia University stated that becoming the AIA central certification unit symbolizes the school's recognized strength in the AI field. Through this collaboration, the university will combine academic resources with industry needs to promote the AI certification program in central Taiwan, not only enhancing AI professional certification opportunities for faculty and students but also helping local industries cultivate more trend-aligned talents, further strengthening the regional and national AI ecosystem.
Feng Chia University emphasized its long-term commitment to AI teaching and interdisciplinary research. Since the establishment of the Taiwan AI Academy, faculty have been invited to teach and participate in course training. To date, more than 60 interdisciplinary teachers have been selected to attend manager and technical leader courses, becoming the core seed faculty for AI at the university. In the future, the university will take this collaboration as a starting point to actively work with industry, government, academia, and research sectors to build a central Taiwan AI talent hub, adding strength to Taiwan's global AI competitiveness.
