Following the session, the delegation hosted a dinner with 21 FCU‑UQ dual‑degree students and alumni from the Feng Chia University Alumni Association in Queensland, including former presidents Cheng‑Hsiao Lee, Chao‑Ming Liu, Chin‑Chung Hung, Ju‑Hsia Jiang, as well as current president Wang‑Hao Yang and other alumni who joined the gathering with their families.

Alumni shared their successful career experiences in Australia and generously provided information about local internship and employment opportunities for FCU students. Director Hou‑Lu Fan of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brisbane and Director Chyun Ouyang of the Taiwan Centre – Brisbane Overseas Community and Culture Center were also invited to join the event.

On May 8, the FCU delegation visited The University of Queensland. With a full schedule of meetings, both sides engaged in in‑depth discussions to expand future collaboration. Meetings were held with Prof. Rakic, Vice‑Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology, and Prof. Griffiths, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. The discussions covered teaching strategies, curriculum development, research cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship, and institutional partnership models.

Both universities confirmed that, in addition to the existing ISTM 2+2 Bachelor’s Program and the 1+1 Master’s Dual‑Degree Program in Finance, collaboration will be expanded to include 1+1 postgraduate programs in engineering‑related fields, as well as joint research supervision. Specific research areas will also be targeted for bilateral academic exchange and collaboration. On May 24, Prof. Rakic will lead a delegation to visit Feng Chia University for further detailed planning on future cooperation models.
