Having graduated from Feng Chia University fifty years ago, Chao-Chi Lin later shared his heartfelt reflections in an essay titled A Love Letter to Feng Chia. He wrote that, as life progresses, one comes to appreciate that “education is one of society’s greatest contributions.” Beyond imparting professional knowledge, universities equip students with the vision and confidence needed to thrive in the world. He reflected that every Feng Chia alumnus carries a love letter to the University in their heart, remembering classmates who became lifelong friends and companions. “Fifty years with Feng Chia, a lifetime devoted to Feng Chia,” he wrote—a sentiment echoed by many alumni.
From Lin’s generous donation to the collective contributions of South China Chapter members, each act of giving transforms gratitude for past educational opportunities into support for future generations. Feng Chia University sincerely thanks its alumni around the world and will continue advancing the Virtuosi Together for Education Initiative, working together with supporters to nurture the next generation of learners.
