Feng Chia University Signs Three MOUs with Farglory Group Enterprises in One Go, Upgrading Industry-Academia Collaboration and Highlighting Home Purchase Benefits

Feng Chia University continues to promote deep industry-academia connections. On September 23, the university signed an industry-academia cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Farglory Construction, Farglory Engineering, and Farglory Real Estate at Virtuosi Hall. This is the first time Feng Chia University has simultaneously signed agreements with three major industry sectors—construction, engineering, and real estate—establishing a new model for talent cultivation and industry development. In the future, the focus of cooperation will include student internships, industry experts teaching courses, corporate employee training, faculty support for project research, as well as jointly organizing professional activities and project collaborations. Through a multi-level cooperation framework, students will not only accumulate project experience in advance but also closely align their learning process with industry development trends.President Wen-Chih Wang of Feng Chia University pointed out that this cooperation is not just about industry-academia alignment, but also symbolizes the concrete practice of bringing real workplace scenarios into the classroom, making learning more relevant to industry needs. Over the years, Feng Chia University has been deeply involved in smart construction. This year, the university’s “Construction Automation: AI Construction Robots” project won the “Industry Co-Creation Model Award” in the USR University Social Responsibility Awards by Global Views Monthly, making it the only university in Taiwan to receive this honor for smart construction and AI technology. President Wang emphasized that as professional exchanges and seminars with Farglory Construction, Engineering, and Real Estate gradually unfold, both sides will spark more opportunities for cooperation, continuously promoting industrial upgrading and talent cultivation.Farglory Construction General Manager Yao-Tang Wang expressed that returning to his alma mater today as an alumnus to sign the industry-academia cooperation agreement on behalf of Farglory Construction, Farglory Engineering, and Farglory Real Estate with Feng Chia University is an especially proud and moving moment—the proudest day of his life—receiving enthusiastic applause from faculty and colleagues present. General Manager Wang noted that Farglory echoes ESG’s talent sustainability with the concept of “harmonious coexistence and sustainable sharing,” and calls on group companies to jointly invest in talent cultivation. In addition to providing cross-disciplinary internship opportunities and a comprehensive workplace mentorship system to help students quickly meet industry needs, Farglory also establishes a complete career connection mechanism, including priority interviews, talent pool retention, and direct employment upon graduation.

After the signing ceremony, President Wen-Chih Wang and Vice President Kuo-Hao Tang accompanied Farglory Construction General Manager Yao-Tang Wang, Farglory Engineering General Manager Shao-Chi Kan, and Farglory Real Estate General Manager Li-Rong Chang to visit Virtuosi Hall—the only dedicated learning space for students in Taiwan—as well as the Feng Chia ROSO Robot Construction Laboratory and Perception Laboratory. During the visit, Professor Yu-Ting Sheng from the School of Architecture shared practical cases of AI construction robots on construction sites; Professor Wei Lin introduced the Perception Laboratory, which focuses on environmental factors such as light, air, thermal sensation, and sound, exploring how to enhance energy-saving design, indoor comfort, and health; Professor Wen-Yang Lin demonstrated how AI is used to optimize BIM software systems, helping to improve the accuracy and efficiency of workflows in the construction industry. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation opportunities for smart construction technology and industrial upgrading.
