Feng Chia University & C SUN Industrial Team Innovation Program Startup Ceremony

"Net Zero Carbon Emission" has become a mandatory issue for global governments and industries, ESG rating has become a key indicator for corporate governance. Ltd. The leading manufacturer of process equipment in Taiwan, the C SUN industry has unconditionally donated $5 million to Feng Chia University for five years as a team innovation incentive fund for teachers and students. The team will establish at the university, focus on promoting ESG related academic activities so that government and academy sectors can work together to move towards a low-carbon era.

C SUN Industrial donated 5 million dollars to Feng Chia University in five years as a fund for the team Innovation Program. President of the school, Bing-Jean Lee represented to take this honor.

Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation, Professor Ho explained the usage of the Program focus on developing ESG in academic and industrial energy activities or competitions to facilitate the sustainable development of industries in Taiwan. School of Architecture Dean Lee specially introduced The ROSO team. Led by Professor Yu-Ting Sheng, they had won the recognition of the research results entrepreneurship program and used robots to challenge the emerging installation art."Visual Flow" is one of the innovative artworks, by this cooperation, the team will continue to bring the latest work to C SUN Industrial.

With the core of photothermal technology, C SUN Industrial started as an industrial in the oven and has developed into a key equipment supplier for the printed circuit board, panel and semiconductor industries over the past 55 years. In the pursuit of corporate excellence, Feng Chia University has been a partner of C SUN since 2006. Long-term industry-academia cooperation has been fruitful, including the provision of millions of dollars in scholarships and corporate internship resources to benefit students, more than 500 companies visited. As many as 20 Feng Chia graduates have become employees of C SUN Industrial, and up to 10% of the top managers are Feng Chia alumnus!

In 2020, C SUN Industrial joined the Feng Chia International Industry-Academia Consortium. 2021, it had moved into Feng Chia University's i-Hub to build a digital development base and is expected to establish a simulation center, a plasma technology joint laboratory, a training camp, and a technology R&D camp.
