Feng Chia University and Taiwan Tourism Factory Association join hands in globalizing international marketing to create a win-win situation.

The "Tourism Factory" was promoted by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, under the guidance of the Central Region Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute. To promote innovation and global marketing of the industry, and cultivate future marketers. On February 18th, President of Feng Chia University Bing-Jean Lee, and Chairman Lesson Hsu of the Taiwan Tourism Factory Promotion Association(TTFA) signed a cooperation agreement in the witness of Commissioner Hsin-Rong Li from the Central Region Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs. Hoping to build a digital marketing mechanism and a social platform to promote an innovative and co-prosperous model for the diversified marketing of the local tourism industry in Taiwan. The two parties hope to create a win-win situation for both industry and academia by establishing a digital marketing mechanism and a social platform to promote the domestic and local tourism industry through an innovative and mutually beneficial model.

President Lee said that Feng Chia University has always been committed to cultivating talents who can participate in the upgrading and innovation of social industries. With the changing environment and the damaging epidemic brought, industries were facing the challenges of upgrading and transformation. The learning framework of the university needs to be a breakthrough, teaching needs to be changed.

The chairman of TTFA, Mr. Hsu, mentioned that tourism factories have a wide range of orientations, current and future development axis revolves around "cross-domain value-added and digital transformation.

In addition, the School of Business is committed to incorporating industry practices and technology tools into its courses. The "Smart Technology and Business Innovation" course will assist tourism factory members in the practical operation of LINE marketing. To help tourism factories grasp customer profiles, establish in-depth marketing, and enhance the customer experience process to drive business opportunities in the industry. The third course, project learning of Business Innovation. The class makes students work in groups for the convenience of company visits, conversations with operators, using the result-oriented model, and carrying out social media message promotion through microfilm in a local vision. Due to the factory tour, students will be able to think outside of the teaching field and change from a user-practical perspective to implement the proposal.
