Eat Thai and Learn Phasa Thai
Southeast Asian language courses are now available, taught by professional foreign teachers at Feng Chia University Extension Education Office. Courses start with the basics vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple conversation, and gradually arranged three levels of courses, with a high value.
On January 25, Phasa Thai class one led by Mr. Yang from Thailand made papaya salad with traditional utensils to mash the ingredients. This salad tastes sour, sweet, spicy, and tangy. In the meantime, students could learn the name of the ingredients and experience the method to mash up food.

The dried ingredients gave off an immediate aroma. Dried chili and lemon juice brought out the sourness and aroma, coconut sugar brought out the sweetness, and the final classic seasoning, the fish sauce had filled the classroom with the Thai flavor.

Thai language courses are open to all students and staff.
With the support of the "Ministry of Education's Subsidy Program to Strengthen Cooperation and Exchange with ASEAN and South Asian Countries", theOffice of Extension Education offered many courses.
