The ELECT meeting was held at Feng Chia University

Feng Chia University is one of the members of the Excellent Long-Established University Consortium of Taiwan (ELECT). From August to October, President Bean Jean Lee serves as the chairman of the alliance. On October 12th, the university will host a meeting of the President and R&D Industry-Academy Committee, and invited the presidents of 12 universities and industry-university R&D. Supervisors gathered in Taichung, in addition to routine work reports, they also arranged themed workshops of the R&D Industry-Academy Committee and the research center to promote practical sharing.

The presidentss and teachers of the 12 universityes of the ELECT gathered in Feng Chia for exchanges and sharing of R&D, industry and academia.

The 12 alliance universities have been established for more than half a century, and each has its own strengths in running and managing the school. Therefore, under the consensus of cross-school and cross-domain innovation and cooperation, each school has its own characteristics as the theme and regularly rotates to hold discussion meetings and cooperation and exchanges. Activities, such as academic affairs cooperation, student affairs and counseling work experience sharing, industry-university cooperation case exchange, book and information resource sharing, joint procurement, joint road running and singles networking activities, etc., to learn from each other. 

Teachers from all schools wrote inscriptions at the Youhantang-Chinese Characters Cultural Center, and kept them as a memorial to today's meeting.
