The 2nd International Student Chinese Speaking & Singing Competition Speak & Sing to express the impression of Taiwan

FCU Pre-major Program for International Freshman Students(PMP) held the 2nd Feng Chia University International Students Chinese Speaking & Singing Competition. This Competition is divided into speech and singing groups, attracting 79 international students who are from 11 countries and with different native languages. After fierce competition, the results of 10 international students in each of the two groups were announced on June 18. Zhang Yuxuan, from Indonesia, won the first prize in the speaking group. Atsushi Yamamoto, from Japan, won the first prize in the singing group.

This competition is organized by Taipei Fengjia University Alumni Culture and Education Foundation, Fengjia People Monthly, Fengjia University Alumni Association, Liao Yingming Culture and Education Foundation, Kaohsiung City Huanxi People Association, and Fengjia People Community Platform. The preliminary contest will be held on May 7. , Stood on the stage of masters like clouds, and finally a total of 24 international students from 6 countries and 13 departments entered the finals. Although the pandemic continued to be tense and the final finals were changed to video recording for the finals, the international students' enthusiasm for obtaining the highest honors was not extinguished. They all completed the recording of the competition videos. After the 5 judges' online final selection meeting, it finally took place in June. On the 18th, 12 awards were announced and presented, and a total of 24 students won.

The theme of this speech group is: I have been to the best places in Taiwan. International students can share more beautiful experiences in Taiwan from where people, events, scenery, and things are connected. The singing group mainly presents the achievement orientation of singing and learning Chinese, allowing international students to use singing and body movements to convey their feelings in their hearts. Regardless of sadness or joy, it is a real and precious record. The judges unanimously affirmed the brave pursuit of dreams and love of Taiwan for international students of our school.
