Feng Chia University promotes the program logic and application ability development plan of the undergraduate class and officially reached the goal of universalization in the academic year 2021. It was affirmed by the "Ministry of Education Promoting University Program Design Teaching Program Team" and was selected as one of 158 colleges and universities One of the 7 model schools that promote particularly well.

Why do we need to promote programming education in an all-around way? As President Li has repeatedly emphasized, the primary responsibility of universities is to provide good education and opportunities and to cultivate innovative talents who can participate in industrial upgrading and transformation. Fengjia introduced the CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate, CDIO) education framework in 2017 to cultivate "future talents". In terms of enriching skills, the main emphasis is on programming, language skills, and industrial internships. At that time, the Ministry of Education established the "Programming Teaching Program for University Programming", which shows that programming skills are no longer necessary for the abilities that students need. The "Programming Logic and Application Ability Development Program" promoted by our school will also be launched immediately. Learning is integrated into the formal education framework.

Recently, the COVID-19 epidemic in Taiwan has continued to spread, affecting the operations of all walks of life. The original interactive teaching between teachers and students was forced to be online. The teaching mode has changed, but the teaching effectiveness and quality cannot be compromised. Starting from the comprehensive remote teaching on May 17, the Information Teaching Center immediately launched basic programming online courses and tutorials, and remote real-time interaction uses video conferencing software (Teams, Google Meet) and online classroom iLearn2.0 to provide students with questions, classroom discussions, and classroom guidance assistance so that online teaching is still consistent with the quality of on-site teaching. In addition, the nightly fixed-point tuition is also immediately converted to an online mechanism. Through the collaborative assistance of the course assistant in a video conference in a specific space, the classmates will have the effect of face-to-face discussion, maintaining the same effect of actual learning on-site, and creating a perfect online learning environment.
