TIMS Has Achieved Successful Goal in 4 years
Feng Chia University received subsidies from the Humanities Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology in mid-2017 and launched the 4-year Center for Taiwan Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (TIMS) project, which won the country’s highest subsidy amount that year , With Professor She Rixin as the chief host, Professor Chen Jiexuan from Tunghai University as the co-host, and a research team organized by 13 teachers. In four years, not only has it delivered brilliant results, but also achieved a breakthrough in the business model that promotes the application of China's smart transformation industry The purpose of this has contributed a lot to Taiwan’s industry.
An exhibition was held in Renyan Building B1 from April 19th to 30th; the results presentation was held at the Fenlu stage on the morning of April 23rd. Many industry listed companies, chairman and CEOs of cabinet companies all highly affirmed the plan on the same day. The results of the painting will deepen and broaden the cooperation with our school in the field of smart manufacturing.

A number of industry-listed and cabinet company VIPs participated in the results presentation, and Fengshuo R&D attracted them to cooperate with the university in the field of smart manufacturing.
The accumulated achievements of this four-year plan include: (1) 49 derivative government projects with a value of more than 140 million; (2) 67 industry-university cooperation projects with a value of more than 40 million; (3) Published 23 domestic journal papers and 55 international journal papers; (4) Published 18 domestic seminar papers and 7 international seminar papers; (5) Obtained 2 smart manufacturing related patents; (6) Established a spin-off Enterprise "Gizwits Co., Ltd.".

TIMS will develop towards the 2.0 stage after the case is closed at the end of May. In the future, we are advancing towards the goal of providing System Integration for Low Cost Intelligent Manufacturing (SILC). President Li also expressed his deep expectations for TIMS.
