Lung-Fen Lin, Chairperson of SYSTEX Corporation.
Lung-Fen Lin, Chairperson of SYSTEX Corporation, has served as General Manager since 2009 and assumed the role of Chairperson in December 2020. Under his long-term leadership, SYSTEX has steadily expanded its influence through sound management and strategic foresight.Lin notes that SYSTEX has consistently centered its development on “long-term value,” advancing through a three-stage strategy of vertical integration, horizontal integration, and ecosystem integration. In its early phase, the company focused on core IT services and talent development to strengthen service capabilities and scale operations. It then strategically integrated key technologies and industry expertise to expand cross-industry and cross-scenario services. In the next stage, through critical investments and strategic partnerships, SYSTEX proactively positioned itself in AI, data, and sustainability technologies, helping enterprises explore second growth curves. This strategy not only drives corporate growth but also embodies the philosophy of “doing impactful work and earning meaningful profits,” enabling technology to respond to long-term industrial and societal needs.
Guided by the spirit of “Tech for Good,” SYSTEX actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility. From elementary schools to universities, the company promotes diverse software and digital talent development programs, encourages startups and organizations to apply technology to social challenges, and collaborates with ecosystem partners to create a virtuous cycle of social contribution. These sustained efforts have earned SYSTEX multiple recognitions, including ranking 10th in the Large Enterprise Service Sector of the 2025 CommonWealth Corporate Citizenship Award, and receiving the Silver Award at the 33rd Taiwan Excellence Awards organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, demonstrating the successful integration of profitability and social value. The Carbon EnVision Cloud Carbon Management System developed by SYSTEX was awarded the 2025 Taiwan Excellence Award – Silver Award.

Five Core Services and Cybersecurity Empowered by AI to Strengthen Long-Term Competitiveness
Driven by a strategy of “data at the center, software as the driver, and AI as the engine,” SYSTEX is upgrading its five core services through intelligent transformation. By integrating enterprises’ existing data and systems, users can query information, complete tasks, and support decision-making through natural language, significantly reducing manual operations and cross-system communication costs—allowing AI to truly meet daily operational needs.
These applications have been implemented across multiple industries. In customer service, AI provides instant responses to product inquiries and assists with order and progress tracking. In manufacturing, it quickly retrieves information on component inventory, production status, and equipment conditions. In healthcare and government sectors, AI supports data organization, process guidance, and decision assistance, easing frontline workloads and improving service efficiency and quality. With modular, scalable AI solutions, enterprises can gradually adopt AI capabilities without overhauling existing systems, enabling AI to evolve from a support tool into an integral part of operational workflows.
Cybersecurity is the other critical side of software services. In the AI era, threats themselves continuously evolve—ranging from AI-generated malware and deepfake scams to highly automated attacks. Relying solely on manual judgment and static rules is no longer sufficient. Effective cybersecurity now requires AI-driven active defense.
In a highly digitalized environment where threats evolve rapidly, relying solely on human judgment and fixed rules is no longer sufficient for timely defense. A truly effective cybersecurity strategy requires AI to serve as an enterprise’s proactive defense force. Through the concept of “AI agent avatars,” AI can continuously patrol systems, proactively detect anomalous behavior, analyze risk trends, and even take preventive action before threats cause tangible damage. Much like round-the-clock digital sentinels, these AI agents autonomously scan for potential risks across different systems and environments, collaborate when necessary, and dynamically adjust defense strategies in response to evolving scenarios. As attackers increasingly deploy AI-generated malware and sophisticated fraud techniques, defenders can establish a genuine “AI-versus-AI” security paradigm.
This represents a fundamental upgrade in defensive thinking—from passive reaction to proactive early warning, and from post-incident remediation to real-time response. The value of AI lies not only in improving efficiency, but also in building a foundation of security and trust amid uncertainty, enabling more stable and reliable decision-making, and becoming a dependable partner for enterprises pursuing long-term, sustainable growth.

Dual Transformation in Action: Intelligent Energy and Sustainability Management
Leveraging its strengths in software, data, and algorithms, SYSTEX has actively invested in green technology R&D, launching AI-powered energy management, carbon accounting, and supply chain decarbonization solutions. Among them, the self-developed Carbon EnVision Cloud Carbon Management System—winner of the 2025 Taiwan Excellence Award – Silver Award—has been successfully deployed in manufacturing, energy, and financial sectors, demonstrating the maturity and scalability of sustainability technologies.
Internationally, SYSTEX has partnered with Singapore-based climate tech company Evercomm to launch an AI-driven financial carbon management platform that integrates climate risk and emissions data, supporting financial institutions in carbon-related investment and lending decisions. Pilot deployments are scheduled for Taiwan and Southeast Asia in Q4 2025.
In practical manufacturing applications, SYSTEX Corporation has assisted a major domestic synthetic resin manufacturer in advancing intelligent energy management by deploying its proprietary EnVision360 Energy Management Platform. The platform integrates energy data—such as water, electricity, and gas—that were previously scattered across equipment systems and paper-based records, enabling real-time visualization to support operational oversight and energy-saving decisions. Through multiple rounds of needs assessments, SYSTEX gained an in-depth understanding of site-specific conditions, completed data integration across heterogeneous systems, and customized reports based on actual requirements. This approach significantly enhanced management efficiency and successfully demonstrated the effective on-site implementation of sustainability technologies in manufacturing environments.
“Tech for Good” lies at the heart of SYSTEX’s corporate culture, and talent sustainability is the key to realizing this vision. In 2025, the company received both the CommonWealth Corporate Citizenship Award and recognition in the CommonWealth Talent Sustainability TOP 100, and was ranked No. 1 in Taiwan’s software industry in CommonWealth Magazine’s 2025 Top 2,000 Enterprises Survey. These honors underscore SYSTEX’s comprehensive strengths in corporate governance, talent investment, and workplace sustainability.

Global IT Services: Wherever Taiwanese Enterprises Go, SYSTEX Is There
SYSTEX Corporation continues to actively advance its Global IT Services strategy, focusing on Southeast Asia and Japan, with SYSTEX Asia in Singapore serving as its regional operations hub. Its client base spans Taiwanese enterprises, Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong–invested companies, as well as local enterprises across different markets. In the initial phase, SYSTEX entered overseas markets through value-added distribution (VAD) services, rapidly scaling its presence via regional channel partnerships. Going forward, the company will progressively expand into its own products and solutions, leveraging the expertise and resources of local partners while extending service capabilities to key Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.
In response to global supply chain restructuring and rising tariff barriers, SYSTEX completed the establishment of its “second headquarters” in Singapore—SYSTEX Asia—and its Vietnam subsidiary in 2025. Looking ahead to 2026, the company will comprehensively deepen its strategies of regionalized services and localized delivery, combining its proprietary overseas PJM (Project Manager) system with a mature partner ecosystem. This approach enables SYSTEX to support Taiwanese enterprises in achieving precise market entry across the United States, Mexico, India, and ASEAN countries, positioning itself as the most reliable digital partner for cross-border expansion.
“Wherever Taiwanese enterprises go, SYSTEX is there to serve” is the core philosophy underpinning the group’s global deployment. Through regionalized market operations, SYSTEX helps enterprises navigate differences in business culture, delivery standards, and regulatory requirements across countries. A series of strategic initiatives undertaken in 2025 has laid a solid foundation for deeper expansion in 2026, including establishing SYSTEX Asia in Singapore as the Southeast Asia command center to drive localized services in markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia; setting up a Vietnam subsidiary to respond to the southward shift of manufacturing and provide frontline technical support and maintenance services; and forming a joint venture with Japan’s CTC, working alongside leading local partners to help Taiwanese enterprises overcome Japan’s stringent trust and compliance thresholds.
At the core of its competitive advantage, SYSTEX addresses Taiwanese enterprises’ top priority—project stability—through a standardized overseas delivery model. Under the mechanism of “overseas PJM paired with local PM,” overseas PJMs are responsible for aligning strategy and communication with headquarters, while local PMs manage execution details and regulatory contexts. Combined with SYSTEX’s partner ecosystem and rigorous delivery governance, this model ensures that projects across different countries can be launched efficiently, with controlled risks and predictable timelines—forming a key strength that enables SYSTEX to support Taiwanese enterprises in competing successfully in global markets.
