2024 QS Rankings: Feng Chia University debuts as the first among private university.

QS released the latest 2024 World University Sustainability Rankings on December 5th, evaluating nearly 1,400 universities globally through a series of indicators measuring a university's ability to respond to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges. In Taiwan, 19 national universities and 15 private universities made the list, with Feng Chia University ranking first among private institutions.

Feng Chia University has internalized the spirit of University Social Responsibility (USR) into education, serving as the starting point for a sustainable campus. The university provides students a well-established system and a friendly environment. Through these efforts, faculty and students cultivates a low-carbon sustainable literacy, interpreting the university spirit.

In collaboration with enterprises, Feng Chia University incorporates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into its practices, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to build a sustainable environment. In 2022, the university established the Carbon Neutrality Research and Service Center and the Carbon Asset Management and Certification Center, assisting enterprises in sustainable development and enhancing carbon management. In 2023, the university established the Office of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility, optimizing connections with communities and residents, strengthening the integration of industry and academia, and engaging in local regeneration and social innovation for sustainable development.

Feng Chia University has courage to take social responsibility and has the confidence to exert social influence. In the future, it actively aims to connect environmental, social, and governance aspects into a "cycle of goodness," fulfilling its role as a socially responsible and sustainable university.
