Even before the formal launch of FIP-SPE@FCU, our team initiated an international alliance that successfully integrated Feng Chia University's process development, German-based PLASUS's plasma monitoring, and deep theoretical knowledge from the Technical University of Braunschweig.
We not only developed the "Smart Plasma Process Monitoring and Control Concept" but also provided the critical technology engine for our partner DYV's (Dah Young Vacuum Equipment Co., Ltd.) internationalization, market expansion, and future stock exchange listing plans.

Case 2: GFS for Al Capacitor Foil
The Green Technology Revolution — From a Lab Bench to a New Industry Leader
The Starting Point: A critical electronic component was stuck in an inefficient, polluting manufacturing process—a major pain point for the entire industry.
Our Approach:

Through a joint development effort with our partner Fraunhofer IST, we harnessed the powerful Gas Flow Sputtering (GFS) technology to create a revolutionary solution for manufacturing aluminum capacitor foil.
The result is a green process whose performance far exceeds market-leading products, boosting key electrical capacitance by nearly 50% at half the thickness.
Commercialization from 0 to 1: This technology did not stay in the lab.
◆ Successfully incubated a spin-off company: GEM Plasma Technology Co., Ltd..
◆ Market Validation:
GEM Plasma secured an industrial investment of 30 million from a top-5 global capacitor manufacturer and built the world's first Roll-to-Roll (R2R) GFS pilot production system, validating the technology's commercial viability.

This core technology is now ready to be applied to the high-potential hydrogen energy sector.
