Feng Chia University established the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) with all English-taught courses in 2014. It was approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and became the first school with 2+2 bachelor's program to cooperate with renowned universities worldwide in Taiwan, starting from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia, followed by San Jose State University (SJSU), Purdue University (PURDUE), San Francisco State University (SFSU), and continue on its path with other universities. Finally, FCU-UQ 2+2 bachelor's program in business was officially approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in May 2021. Enrollment will begin in the 2022 academic year. The University of Queensland is the 5th well-known foreign university and the 6th 2+2 bachelor degree program jointly run by Feng Chia University.

UQ’s Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law is the first school in Australia awarded two international authorized accreditations: EQUIS and AACSB.

Different from other dual degrees universities, UQ actively provides incentives for Taiwanese students to reduce or exempt Australian tuition fees, hoping to create a new model of international collaboration with Feng Chia University in cultivating academic elites. In the 2022 academic year, the FCU-UQ program only recruits 18 students. There are two ways for enrollment: one is an individual application and the other is the college entrance system.
